Book Review~The Busker

This is a story from the Paul Jennings book Uncollected. Its called the busker and is a story teaching the moral(or at least i think its teaching this) that you cant make friends using money or buying them things, you have to make friends using yourself and it also teaches to stick with the friends youve got and dont be jelous of them. The actual story is about a busker and his dog who collect money at the train station every day. The busker plays instrumets and the tini little dog name tini collects money in a hat. The busker realises people only give money because of the dog and not because of him and he gets very jelous! he starves the dog but then the animal welfare officers tell him to feed it or they'll take it away! The busker gets so angry that he puts tini down a well and leaves him there for three weeks. Then the busker wins lotto and buys lots of things. He realises that hes still not happy though and that tini is his only friend do he gets him out of the well. tinis head is facing the sky and wont move now, it cant because he was looking at the sky from in the well for te whole time! then the busker wants friends so he puts an ad in the newspaper for free money. He was going to give away half of his 1million dollars. big lines form and the busker starts to give more money to the people who give him more compliments. But one day the busker runs out of money and the crowd riots into the house and smashes everything, the busker hides in the well. After the people are gone the busker is stuck but tini finds food and everyday throws down food. Aft a while tini gets very skinny because he gives all th food to the busker. when the busker is rescued tini is dead! TT_TT The whole story is being told by the busker to a young boy who had bee asking his dad for money so he could take out a girl in a limo cause if theres no limo she wont go but at the end of the story he tells the girl to go jump in a lake! I Thought it was a very good story! It had a god moral and was very interesting! It was realy sad though! I wish the dog would have lived!

THE END! ^-^
